Gauke Reitsma

Gauke Reitsma is the Chief Executive Officer of ELIQUO WATER GROUP GmbH, which is the operating company for all European activities in the field of municipal water, waste water and sludge treatment within the SKion GmbH Water Portfolio. He is based in Bad Homburg / Frankfurt (Germany) with ELIQUO subsidiaries located in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and at various locations in Germany.
With a strong team of over 350 water professionals, ELIQUO offers a comprehensive range of solutions to the municipal water market, from EPC contracting, technology delivery (including proprietary technologies) – e.g. for tertiary treatment, sludge treatment, and CSO management – to services.
Gauke holds a BSc. Degree in Environmental Technology, a MSc. degree in Business Administration and completed an Executive MBA program at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He started his career at Paques, the leading anaerobic wastewater treatment technology company, where he held there various positions in Research, Sales and Services. He was also the head of Global Services at Ziemann Holvrieka GmbH, a renowned supplier of turnkey brewery plants. As per January 2018, Gauke joined ELIQUO as the Group CEO and one of his key strategic focus areas is to internationally commercialise the various ELIQUO innovations, which are developed in the context of the German sewage sludge treatment developments.
