John Tonner

John Tonner is COO of Consolidated Water, holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and has worked in the desalination industry since 1985 with experience in the design, manufacture and operation of membrane and thermal processes. Widely known for his work related to thermal processes, he also has 25+ years of experience with reverse osmosis and membrane technology that includes patenting RO energy recovery techniques. As a partner in a leading desalination consultancy, he has provided advisory services and due diligence oversight services for some of the largest desalination projects in the world. John has lectured extensively on all aspects of desalination, and is a former director of the International Desalination Association.
